  • Location Data: We access your device's location only when you actively use the App to find nearby food vendors. Location data is used in real-time and is not stored or tracked
  • Usage Data: Basic app analytics (pages viewed, features used, session duration)
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, app version

Information We DO NOT Collect from Consumers

  • Payment information (consumers do not make purchases through the App)

Information We Collect from Restaurant and Vendor Customers

If you are a restaurant or food vendor using our sponsored placement advertising services:

  • Business Information: Restaurant name, address, hours, menu, photos
  • Payment Information: Processed and stored by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive confirmation of payment status but do not store full credit card details
  • Plan Data: Current plan details, billing history, account credits
  • Performance Analytics: Views, impressions, and engagement metrics for your sponsored listings

  • Process your Edge campaign billing and payments

  • Send billing notifications and account statements
  • Determine sponsored placement based on your campaign bid amount

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: With trusted partners who help us operate the App, including:
    • Stripe (payment processing for restaurant/vendor sponsored placement services)

Promoted Vendor Disclosure

Some food vendors pay to appear higher in search results. These are clearly marked as "Sponsored" in the App. Your personal information is never shared with vendors unless you explicitly choose to contact or order from them directly.

Data Retention

  • Account Information: Retained as long as your account is active
  • Location Data: Used only during your active session and not stored
  • Deletion: You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us

Legal Retention Requirements

Even after account deletion, we may retain certain records as required by law:

  • Financial and tax records (retained for 7 years as required by law)
  • Records necessary for legal claims or disputes
  • Documentation of privacy requests and account deletions
  • Anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked to you

MeHungry is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Users

MeHungry operates from the United States. If you access our App from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our App, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any material changes by:

  • Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date
